MARK PROCTER
Mark began sailing at an early age and now sails competitively in the international race circuit. At 16 years of age, Mark joined the Royal Navy as a Marine Engineer and became a Royal Navy Diver. Having left the Royal Navy, Mark joined the UK Police Service and several years later in September 2000 joined the Bermuda Police Service. Mark has vast knowledge of problems encountered by Bermuda's boating public and it is with this knowledge in mind that Sea Assist Ltd. was formed with a head start in the marine industry.
Mark has attended various marine related courses including vessel management, engineering management, safety at sea seminars, risk assessment and United States Coast Guard endorsed towing and salvage course. Mark is a member of the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club, Bermuda Offshore Cruising Association and the International Sailing Association Federation. Mark is a Class C pilot license holder and has a vast amount of ocean experience on both motor and sailing vessels.
