CHRIS MAUGHAN

Chris has over 20 years of boating experience. He has had numerous boats and worked as crew for charters boats and water sport ventures. At age 27, Chris made his first ocean crossing when he purchased a 30 foot Maine Cat, which he sailed from Boston to Bermuda.

In 2003 Chris founded Custom Charters Limited, a charter boat company that provided highly personalized cruises and sailing adventures. Chris sold the Catamaran in 2008 and partnered with Mark Procter to form Sea Assist Ltd. Chris is a Class C pilot license holder and has successfully completed a marine related risk assessment and United States Coast Guard endorsed towing and salvage course.

MARK PROCTER

Mark began sailing at an early age and now sails competitively in the international race circuit. At 16 years of age, Mark joined the Royal Navy as a Marine Engineer and became a Royal Navy Diver. Having left the Royal Navy, Mark joined the UK Police Service and several years later in September 2000 joined the Bermuda Police Service. Mark has vast knowledge of problems encountered by Bermuda's boating public and it is with this knowledge in mind that Sea Assist Ltd. was formed with a head start in the marine industry.

Mark has attended various marine related courses including vessel management, engineering management, safety at sea seminars, risk assessment and United States Coast Guard endorsed towing and salvage course. Mark is a member of the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club, Bermuda Offshore Cruising Association and the International Sailing Association Federation. Mark is a Class C pilot license holder and has a vast amount of ocean experience on both motor and sailing vessels.

GRAEME PROCTER

Graeme holds a Master of Yachts 200 ton commercial Captains license and has extensive knowledge within the marine industry. Graeme is qualified to do just about anything and has following MCA/RYA certificates: PowerBoat level 2, Diesel Engine Maintenance, Sea Survival, Coastal Skipper and Yachtmaster Theory, Radar, Oceanmaster Theory, Long Range Radio and Satellite Endorsement, First Aid at Sea, International Certificate of Competence.
